check out用法：

1、check out可以与“某人”或“某物”搭配使用。该“人”或“物”可以放在out之前或之后。具体如下：

• check sb/sth out=check out sb/sth——（因对人或事感兴趣）观看，查看

• check sb out=check out sb——了解……的情况

2、If I hear about a website that sounds interesting, I check it out.

我要是听到什么有趣的“网站”，就会去看一下。

Let's go check out the new pub.

咱们到那家新酒吧去瞧瞧。

I'll check them out as potential employers.

我要把他们列为潜在的雇主，去了解一下情况。

3、I made a phone call to check out his address.

我打了个电话核实他的地址。

The library allows you to check out five books at a time.
